The app is stuck or frozen on the iPad or is showing a white screen

This article provides a troubleshooting guide when the DisplaySweet app becomes unresponsive, freezes, or displays a blank screen on your iPad

  1. Force Close the App
    • Swipe up from the bottom of the screen (or double-tap Home button if the iPad has one).

    • Find the DisplaySweet app preview.

    • Swipe it up to close completely.

    • Reopen the app.

  2. Restart the iPad

    • Press and hold the Top (Power) button + Volume button (or Power + Home button for older models).

    • Slide to power off, wait 30 seconds, then restart.

  3. Clear App Data (if possible)

    • Go to Settings → General → iPad Storage → DisplaySweet.

    • If available, tap Offload App (this clears cached data but keeps content).

    • Reinstall from the App Store if needed.

  4. Update

    • iPadOS: Go to Settings → General → Software Update.

    • DisplaySweet app: Open App Store → Updates, install the latest version.

  5. Reinstall the App

    • Delete the DisplaySweet app (tap & hold → Delete App).

    • Restart the iPad.

    • Reinstall from the App Store and log back in.

  6. If It Still Freezes

  • It may be a sync issue or corrupt data from the CMS/CRM. In that case:

    • Try logging into the DisplaySweet app on another device (if available).

    • If it works there, the issue is with the first iPad’s local data.

    • If it fails everywhere, it’s a backend sync problem → contact DisplaySweet support.
