Agent is unable to view properties on the DisplaySweet App

This article offers troubleshooting guidance for agents experiencing issues with properties not appearing on the DisplaySweet app.

If an agent cannot see properties on the DisplaySweet app, consider the following common causes and solutions:

Common Causes:

  • User Not Assigned: The agent's account is not linked to the specific properties they are trying to view.
  • Sync Delay: Property data from the CRM may take time to update and reflect in the DisplaySweet system.
  • Offline Mode: If the iPad was offline, it might be displaying outdated, cached data rather than the latest synchronized information.

Troubleshooting Steps:

  1. Check Login and Permissions:
    • Confirm Correct Account: Ensure the agent is logged in with their assigned DisplaySweet credentials, not a generic account.
    • Verify CMS Settings: In the DisplaySweet CMS (admin panel):
      • Confirm the agent is assigned to the correct project(s)/properties within their allocation group.
      • Verify they possess the necessary role and permissions to view listings.
  2. Sync and Refresh:
    • Force Refresh (iPad): On the property list screen in the app, pull down to initiate a refresh.
    • Log Out/Log In: If a refresh doesn't resolve the issue, log out of the app and then log back in.
    • Internet Connection: Confirm the iPad has an active internet connection (e.g., by testing Safari).
  3. CMS vs. CRM Data Check:
    • Check DisplaySweet CMS (Desktop): Log into the DisplaySweet CMS from a desktop computer:
      • Missing in CMS: If the properties are also absent in the CMS, the issue lies with the CRM to CMS sync (e.g., from VaultRE, Rex, Salesforce, Agentbox).
      • In CMS, Not on iPad: If the properties are present in the CMS but not appearing on the iPad, it indicates an app/device synchronization problem.
  4. Update and Reinstall:
    • Update App: Update the DisplaySweet app to the latest version via the App Store.
    • Reinstall App: If the problem persists, delete the app, then reinstall it, and log back in.
